Ayla always knew she was different.
Normal people can’t read other’s emotions. They don’t have the same dreams over and over again— dreams about a long-forgotten civilization on the moon. In the dreams she was surrounded by the same people, only their ages changed from dream to dream. Some dreams she woke from screaming...
Ayla and her best friend Terra arrive in Tokyo, ready to start a year of studying abroad in Japan’s busiest city. It should have been an amazing year of shrines, karaoke, and cat cafes. Jumping head first into independence.
However, as Ayla starts her new life, her powers grow and the dreams take a stronger hold of her— and she discovers she’s not the only one who sees them.
Why did fate gather them together from across the world into one city?
Were the dreams really just dreams?
Or, were they memories doomed to be repeated?

100% Sailor Moon and some Please Save My Earth.
About 3 months.
I think my fractured back was healed enough by the start of March to start writing. I had 10 chapters done by the end of March when a writathon for 5 weeks started in April. I then finished all 36 chapters and 135K words at the end of May. I woke, wrote, ate meals as breaks, wrote then slept every day for 3 months.
Ayla's name comes from my late mother's favorite series, the Earth's Children series written by Jean M. Auel. Also who could forget Ayla from Chrono Trigger? Once I looked up the meaning of her name I knew she was main character.
Some characters are shout outs to friends I had throughout my life. Andrew for one is someone who I studied abroad with and is unfortunately no longer with us. I wanted to honor him in the book.
I really hope so.
I hope there are announcements to come.
I also have a prequel swimming around in my mind as well.
